Panda 4.0 Rolls Out- Some Gains and Some Losses Awaits!

The constant tweaks which Google was making for the past few days, has a name today! Matt Cutts recently tweeted us that they are rolling out the 4.0 version of the Panda update. This is a surprise for us because Matt had earlier said that Panda has been incorporated into the in ranking algorithm and hence changes are less noticeable. However Matt had earlier announced that a softer Panda update is coming. We will surely see that in a week or two when the roll out finishes in most of the world.



For those folks who are new to the world of SEO, Panda is the name of an update which penalizes sites having low quality content and rewards sites having high quality and engaging content.

  •  Create and share high quality and relevant content on the site.

  •  Avoid grammar and spelling mistakes.
  •  Avoid keyword stuffing and spamming.
  •  Keep an eye on LSI and TF-IDF score.
